Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.

Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.

The story
About Trellis Drop
Almost every occasion earring is built on curves. This one is built on a grid: an elongated rhombus whose faces are filled with a pierced diamond lattice, each opening set with its own stone, banded around the middle with a row of baguettes. The result has a woven, almost textile look rather than a jewelled one.
Above it sits a round top of concentric pavé rings, which repeats the geometry at a smaller scale and keeps the piece reading as one object. It is longer than it first appears and deliberately restrained in palette — a good choice when the outfit is simple and the earrings are supposed to carry it.
