Moonlit Chandbali
Inclusive of all taxes.
Moonlit Chandbali is a silver-tone chandbali earring with a marquise-cut fan top, an openwork crescent body and a fringe of pear-cut drops along its lower edge. It is a full bridal-scale piece — the crescent is wide, the fringe moves when you do, and the whole thing is clear stones from top to bottom. Best worn for weddings, receptions and festive occasions where the earrings are meant to be the jewellery.

Getting the most from it
How to wear & care for it
Small things that change how long it lasts and how it reads on you.
- 01
Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.
- 02
Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.
- 03
Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.
- 04
Store pieces separately
In the pouch or box it arrived in, away from damp. Loose in a drawer, pieces scratch each other.

The story
About Moonlit Chandbali
The chandbali is the shape Indian occasion jewellery keeps returning to, and this is the classical version of it: a marquise-cut fan at the top, a pierced crescent below carrying floral and pear-cut work through its arc, and a row of graduated pear drops hung along the rim so the lower edge catches light every time you turn your head.
All-clear stones on a silver-tone finish is a deliberately open choice — it goes with a red lehenga as readily as with pastels or an ivory saree, which coloured stones do not. It is a large piece and it is meant to be. Wear it with hair up and the neckline uncluttered, and let everything else in the look stay quiet.
