Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.

Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.

Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.

Store pieces separately
In the pouch or box it arrived in, away from damp. Loose in a drawer, pieces scratch each other.

The story
About Meringue
The same construction as Sage — a large flat-faced curb chain coated in a single colour, clasp and all — and white changes it completely. Sage is soft and recedes; Meringue is bright and comes forward, and the gloss on the white links gives each a highlight, so the chain reads as a row of pale glossy curves.
It is wide, light for its size, and swings the way a curb chain swings. Wear it alone: there is nothing it stacks with and nothing it needs. Against tan skin in summer it is the brightest thing in the jewellery line.
