Mayura
Inclusive of all taxes.
Mayura is a silver-tone peacock earring with a plume of mint-green cabochons rising above a pavé body, a round pearl at its heart and a large pear-shaped pearl drop below. The peacock is rendered in profile with the tail sweeping upward, so it reads as a figure rather than as an abstract cluster. Best worn for weddings, receptions and sangeets.

Getting the most from it
How to wear & care for it
Small things that change how long it lasts and how it reads on you.
- 01
Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.
- 02
Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.
- 03
Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.
- 04
Store pieces separately
In the pouch or box it arrived in, away from damp. Loose in a drawer, pieces scratch each other.

The story
About Mayura
The peacock is the oldest motif in Indian jewellery and the easiest to do badly — most versions flatten it into a vague fan. This one keeps the bird legible: a pavé body in profile, a crest, and a tail of mint-green cabochons set in graduated pairs so the plume genuinely rises rather than just widening.
A round pearl sits where the body meets the tail, and a long pear-shaped pearl hangs below, which is what gives the piece its length and its swing. The mint-and-pearl palette against silver is softer than the usual bridal red-and-gold, so it works particularly well with pastels, ivories and pale silks.
