Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.

Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.

Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.

The story
About Kanika
Granulation is one of the oldest techniques in Indian goldsmithing and it does something no cut surface can: because every grain is a tiny sphere, the piece throws light from every angle at once instead of flashing when it catches the right one. That is why these keep sparkling in a photograph taken indoors.
The construction is simple — two beaded rails holding a granulated field — and the restraint is what makes them wearable daily. They are the lightest bangles in the line, and the ones most likely to end up worn with a shirt rather than saved for an occasion.
