Entwine is a pair of two-tone bangles whose bands split and cross over the top of the wrist in a loose knot, the twisted gold ribbons running against pavé-set white ones. The crossing sits on the front of the hand rather than the side, so it is the first thing seen. Best worn for receptions and evenings.

Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.

Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.

Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.

The story
About Entwine
Most bangles repeat one motif the whole way round. This one has a front and a back: the band divides into four strands that weave over each other across the top of the wrist and rejoin underneath, so there is a composition to look at rather than a pattern.
The strands are told apart by finish — two are rope-twisted yellow gold, two are set with white pavé — which keeps the knot readable instead of collapsing into a tangle. It is the most sculptural piece in the bangle line and the one that works best with a bare arm and a sleeveless neckline.
