Put it on last
After perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish faster than anything else.

Take it off first
Before you sleep, shower, swim or exercise. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are all harder on a finish than ordinary daily wear.

Wipe it down after wearing
A dry, soft cloth removes the skin oils that cause tarnish. No chemical cleaners and no ultrasonic baths on plated or stone-set pieces.

The story
About Domino
Two colours would have made a humbug and four would have made it noisy; three is what gives the band a sequence you can follow round it. Black, then gold, then grey, then white — and because the bangle is round, the pattern reaches the clasp out of step with itself, which is the small irregularity that keeps it from looking printed.
It is the graphic piece in the line. Everything else here is gold, white or blue; this one is deliberately monochrome, and it looks best against exactly the kind of black-and-white dressing that would swallow a traditional gold bangle whole.
