Start with one dab
An attar is undiluted oil, not a spray — it is many times more concentrated. One light dab is a full application; a second is usually one too many.
- 02
Place it on warm skin
Inner wrists and the base of the throat. Body heat opens an oil gradually, which is why an attar keeps unfolding for hours after it goes on.
- 03
Let it settle, do not rub
Give it two or three minutes untouched. Rubbing forces the oil into the skin and flattens the opening you paid for.
- 04
Layer it onto fabric
A touch on a scarf, a cuff or a collar holds for days. Test an unseen corner first — a concentrated oil can mark pale or delicate fabric.
